WEDNESDAY ︎︎︎ THE BIBLE OF DARK CULTURE
Appropriately conceived during a global plague, Wednesday is the new Bible of Dark Culture. This 2024 Society of Publication Designers Silver Medal winner is what you might expect if Edgar Allan Poe were to guest edit an issue of Kinfolk—a lavishly illustrated 288-page annual exploring darkness as a catalyst for creativity in music, fashion, art, film and beyond. The name Wednesday references an old English nursery rhyme verse: “Wednesday’s child is full of woe.” Designed with Adam Larson.
